I’ve completed a project today that took me an immense amount of time. I have to admit, I’m pretty exhausted, but also happy because when things become tangible, when they involve sharing with others, mutual support, and creating something rich, it lays the foundation for many things in the future.

Now, as the weekend approaches, it’s calling for a different kind of effort. Without effort, nothing can truly exist. I’ll be working on the new album, Iram, focusing mostly on guitar sessions. I plan to bring all these parts with me during the two weeks I’ll be spending in Trogir, Croatia.

This weekend is going to be a big push, with 40 tracks to work on. There aren’t many guitar parts yet, but I need to have something substantial to take with me. Lately, I’ve also been thinking a lot about the upcoming live sessions. It’s taken me a while to figure out how to bring some things back to life, but I’ve realized that I’ll need one or two more people involved, as well as a sampler, because there’s a lot of groundwork that’s been laid.

I’ve been diving deeper into Sufi writings, particularly the works of Al-Ghazali. I’m exploring this mysticism at a higher level with the book of Hallaj. This kind of mysticism has the power to shake your mind, allowing you to reach realms that aren’t accessible if you stick to mundane things. There’s a very important progression that must be followed with diligence, but more importantly, with sensitivity, to reach those golden threads.
